We first started developing BeadCreator in 2002, at the request of beaders who were familiar with our other software programs. BeadCreatorPro has to be the best bead-design creating software available. This is not just because of the software itself - there are many almost-comparable design softwares out there. BeadCreatorPro also has the best technical support of any that I have seen. I spent several months researching software, and finally decided on BeadCreatorPro because of the support. Our technical support department is staffed approximately 24 hours per day, seven days a week, and very rarely does a plea for help go unanswered for longer than a few hours, even on weekends, holidays, and often times into the wee hours of the morning. I bought BeadCreator software 3 years ago and my first project was a tapestry of my dog Casper. I loaded the picture in to the BeadCreatorPro software and selected the palette and it took about 5 hours of tweeking to get it to the size I wanted without losing the quality of picture but I did it and it came out amazing I could not believe how easy it was to create a project that looked so realistic. The finished project had 60 colours and over 16,000 delicas. I have since entered this in several contests and won 1st each time. The support from Thoughtfish has always been excellent, also the user group forum is an excellent way to get all kinds of tips from other experts. The latest versions of the software are even better than the one I started with, it has brilliant features. Love it, Love it.

I have never bought a computer program that had the following that this program has. All I or anyone else has to do is post what their problem was and it gets addressed. Need something specific added to the program to make it easier for you to design - almost like a bespoke program? We have loom, brick, peyote, sacred peyote, and comanche pattern styles, just to name a few - and variations added at the request of designers doing Native American patterns. Not as an upgrade that comes out once a year, but as an update that comes out monthly. This truly is your program, used by you, developed by you, enhanced by you.

I have owned the BeadCreatorPro program for a couple of years now. I love the support that comes with the program, from the other people that use it to Andrew. I have had quite a few questions and things that I didn't understand. But the support alone is worth the cost. Most companies sell their product and then that's it. Being able to create my own palettes is my favorite part. I have been able to make up my own names and numbers for the beads I have. The Delica palettes available for the program are awesome and the fact that they are free is fantastic. The people in the forums and groups are very friendly and helpful. The other part of the program that is a definite plus is being able to actually make patterns in book form. If you are looking to buy a program I definitely recommend BeadCreatorPro.

We truly believe that you should be entitled to earn every penny of your patterns you create and sell. Not part of the money, but the full amount. That's why we've built e-commerce capabilities into the program, with shopping cart buttons built into the BCP Viewer, the single pattern and multi-pattern books, and within HTML web pages that BeadCreatorPro creates. Using a beading program really should be about helping you fulfill your creative vision. It should work with you, not against you, so that you can create bracelets, bags, tapestries, necklaces, belts, etc. with ease. Learning to use any good program will require a learning curve, and we do our best to minimize it. Our Bead Faerie (think wizard) helps you create your first project just by pointing and clicking. As you grow more comfortable with the program, you can design and edit every facet of your project, to make your project a work of art. And our software includes all the components you would expect without having to use workarounds to export a PDF, for example. It's all inclusive with our software - as it should be.

The BeadCreator software is so extensive and comprehensive that just playing with it stimulates the creative process. If you can think of it, BeadCreator can do it!! The program grows with the input of the people who use it and the responsiveness of the developer to that input. Perhaps the sweetest bonus is the wonderful community of users who freely share their experience with the program in the forum and the BeadCreator Family group. Just reading the chatter and viewing the gallery is instructive and inspiring and often heart warming.

I started off with Bead Tool. I was frustrated because with the palette included with their software often made my patterns look cartoony when beaded. I would have to change 99% of the colors in the patterns to even start to be happy with it. Tried one or two other palettes. After getting REALLY frustrated after restarting a pattern for a 9th? 10th? time I had had it.... So instead of beading or designing I spent the next two weeks reading everything I could get my hands on. I joined a bunch of yahoo groups...and sat back and read and took it all in... BeadCreatorPro stuck out to me.... There is sooooo much support within the group. The extra palettes, the manuals and all the other help is amazing. Another thing that I LOVE is the programmers listen to the users!! We make suggestions and get this..... THEY LISTEN!!! I did not believe it either!! This program keeps getting better!! The palettes and all the extra info make designing so much fun! My results are soo much better with this and as I am getting better with the program the results are improving even more.... This program is worth soo much more than we pay for it.. When you get it make sure to join the yahoo and thoughtfish groups. The long time users are sooo full of great info!!
